I love funny whodunnits so this was right up my alley despite sobbing several times while reading this book. Better than the 2nd and 3rd books which I also enjoyed. I wouldn’t dare compare anything to the first book because the characters were so fun to meet for the first time.

fun, poignant, twisty. i have loved all of the thursday murder club books and this was the perfect ending (for now, the acknowledgements said there may be more). this book spoke on some really heavy topics and still maintained a fun and entertaining plot. truly solidified my love for this series.

The only book that has made me cry a little bit

Definitely my favorite of the series so far! The first two books were a bit too convoluted for my taste on the mystery side of things (although to be fair, I must admit that I listened to those on audiobook and it's possible that I just didn't process all the information as well), but I actually enjoyed the mystery aspect to this entry and was more invested in the whodunnit of it all than I normally am.

But of course, the beating heart of the book is our main foursome and the relationships they've built with each other and the other characters around them. And those relationships were crucial this time around as one of our gang is dealing with an inevitable tragedy.

Such a lovely, heartwarming and heartbreaking story and I can't wait to spend more time with these characters whenever we get the next installment.
