I loved the first Explorer collection, and this one is more of the same in a sense, but not quite what I wanted this time around. I think the concept in the first book was just better.
Still, a lot of good stories, and some that were unmemorable. Otherwise...

Really fun comic anthology. My favorite stories were Radio Adrift by Katie and Steven Shanahan and Carapace by Jason Caffoe.

A really fun and quick read, which is kind of obvious to say haha my favorites for this volume were carapace by Jason caffoe and loah by Michel gagné! The theme of lost islands made for some really beautiful art throughout

I really enjoyed Explorer 2: The Lost Islands. A collection of short graphic stories about Islands, some are life on the an island while others are about being stranded on an island. What I found interesting was that all the characters stranded on the islands have no idea how they got there...no lost at sea or shipwrecked stories.

This was almost perfect, almost. The last two stories, RADIO ADRIFT and THE FISHERMEN, were boring and lacked the wisdom, whimsy, and poignancy of the preceding stories. I found the other stories to be profound, thought-provoking, and moving, where as these last two didn't pack the same punch.
RABBIT ISLAND and DESERT ISLAND PLAYLIST were the 2 stories that really stood out to me as memorable and moving.
Best art definitely goes to [a:Chrystin Garland|7055316|Chrystin Garland|https://www.goodreads.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-d9f6a4a5badfda0f69e70cc94d962125.png], stunning, bright and dark at the same time! Awesome!
A great read for all ages.
