A heart-warming journey through two boys friendship that is tinged with longing, questioning and love. A fast read with lovely drawings, this graphic novel is suitable for all YA ages and above, and shines a light on the difficulties of being a teenager and coming to terms with who you are.

While I've read all four of the graphic novels that are out (plus everything Alice has published to Webtoon), I'm only going to give my "review" on this one. Review has quotes around it because this is my "review":

EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THESE BOOKS BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST A BUNDLE OF JOY AND HAPPINESS AND HOPE AND LOVE AND ALL THINGS GOOD.

I read these following the passing of my kitty - one of the hardest weeks of my entire life - and they were the only things that brought a smile to my face. I will forever be thankful to Alice for writing such sweetness to help me through such a tough time.

The adaptation is also adorable and did a really great job following the story, for the most part! I could've done without Imogen or the added Tao debacle, but overall it was excellent!

I looove this graphic novel. It's such a sweet story but also deals with issues that are experienced by members of the LGBTQIA+ community on the daily. As a cis white woman I feel that there is more that can be done to educate people on being decent humans and more that can be done to ensure people in the LGBTQIA+ community are comfortable and offered equal opportunities and respect from their peers. Can't wait to read the next one ❤️

Cute! This is a story that felt so much more real than other gay graphic novels that I’ve read up til this point… there’s some traumatic underlying, not-overly-discussed events, but it is also based on growth of hope, self-discovery, and self-love. Very beautiful story! I’ll have to get my hands on the second book in its series!

This is my first graphic novel that i’ve read! I don’t think I would have read it if it weren’t a Netflix show that I had already watched and that it was insanely popular. But oh man, the netflix show was so cute that I had to come read the books. I really enjoyed seeing the pictures, i never get to do that in other books. the story was amazing obviously. it is mostly a very idyllic situation, because in reality no rugby boy would be as nice as nick. i will have to read the following novels now!

trigger warnings: homophobia, bullying, biphobia, eating disorder, depression and anxiety, OCD triggers, sexual assault

I really don't need to say much. It's too cute for its own good at this point. Hit up webtoons if your stores are out of copies.

i loved everything about it i can't really review it but i loved it just read it
