A great space opera by the king of writing alien aliens. It's a fantastic romp where we follow free adventures of a ragtag group of scoundrels doing their best to save the universe.

What could have been just "another one of those" is greatly elevated by the Adrian Tchaikovsky touch.

Book 1: Shards Of Earth ★★★★★
Book 2: Eyes Of The Void* ★★★★★
Book 3: Lords Of Uncreation* ★★★★★

Check out my more extensive thoughts on the second novel in the series here.

Really good. The main crew of characters almost gives a Guardians of the Galaxy vibe, except in a sci-fi world that is actually interesting.

Reasonable space thriller that didn’t leave a strong impression. Adrian Tchaikovsky is the author whom I rate least consistently, really wide range of quality or at least how much I like his work.
