No one writes romance like TL Swan... I am obsessed with every book she has ever written. Highly recommend this spicy, mafia, dark romance!

This is literally one of the best books I’ve ever read. If you need or are curious about a mafia romance but don’t want it to be super dark, this is it. This is what you need to read. Literally read it in one sitting. So much content so so so good.

There just isn’t enough hype on this book!

This rating is solely because dominant, alphaholes are not my thing so I spent half this book fuming at the male. But if you love a dominant alphahole, than this book is perfect for you!

I discovered this author when I listened & read the Miles High Club series (#4 comes out soon and I'm excited). TL Swan has fast become one of my favorite authors. This book was unexpected, I don't generally read mafia books but this wasn't so in your face, I'm in the mafia! The way this man loves this woman in this book it everything! All women should aspire to have a man love them as fully and thoroughly as Enrico loves Oliva! And don't get me started on the steam, definitely worth reading! I had a range of emotions when reading this, from laughing to crying and being sad to happy again. Worth the read!

I have mixed feelings for this book.
I enjoyed it a lot and liked the characters, their moments together and how they get their HEA .
But there’s something that I cannot really put my finger on it, like there are a few twists and turns that maybe I wanted to be explored more, the suspense was there and everything played out nice but I was hoping for more angst probably.
Overall the story is great and hold your attention to finish reading it in one sitting if you’re brave enough.

Not as good as her other books but still full of plot and steam. I can’t quite put my finger on what was missing from it maybe I just didn’t gel with the characters as much as I usually do in her books. Whatever the reason I still enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next instalment to read about Guilianno or however you spell it. I have a feeling we are going to find out that Lorenzo is Francesca’s father not Enrico’s as I doubt thei book will be about a romance between half siblings.
