This is the first book of Fulton U series and is the story of Persephone (Seph) and Reece. This book definitely made me laugh out loud! Seph and her awkwardness was something else for sure. I liked how she wasn’t afraid of change, but in the same time I hated how she let her father control her (this means that I hated her father). Reece was the typical jock, who was afraid of commitments, until he met Seph, of course! Their interactions were funny, but in the same time they were adorable. The opposites attract each other- this is the best way to explain their relantioship. But this was not the only thing that I liked about the book. I loved how his friends were supportives of their relantionship and how easely they accepted Seph in their circle.
Overall I loved this book, I loved the characters and I loved that it wasn’t too much drama between them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars for this one, for Seph and Reece and the entire Fulton U footbal team, and I will not regret giving them, that’s for sure!

I was so annoyed with the last college sports romance book I read I felt the urge to read another one straight away. This was much more well written and believable- it had all the usual cliches but both characters were so endearing.

This was exactly what I needed.

I have been scouring Goodreads trying to find a really good college, New Adult romance, and I definitely found it here.

There was a welcome maturity to this story. I wasn't the biggest fan of Reece in the beginning (he seemed like an asshole), but he really grew on me. And I loved Seph. She was strong, confident, and so free, despite her stifling and rigid upbringing and father.

The romance wasn't too sweet, there weren't any miscommunications that weren't resolved quickly, the side characters were awesome, no jealous alphahole, no other woman/man, the character development was well done, and i really loved the love story.

Was it the best college romance ever? No, but it should be considered a welcome addition to the New Adult genre.

Was I entertained? Yes! The steam and slow burn was just right. And the football guys, who all have their own books, were awesome, too!
Would I re-read this? Perhaps, but only the steamy parts.
Would I recommend this book? Yes! Especially if you're in the market for a good college romance.

Happy reading, Goodreads fiends.

3.5 stars.

It was a good book, no romantic dramas such as love triangles and overbearing jealousy. It’s fast-paced and highly entertaining, though, I connected more with Reece than I did with Seph.

Reading Seph’s chapters were okay, but she didn’t feel relatable; Reece’s chapters had more personality.

I can’t wait to read Nix’s story! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fast read, and romantic.
