I liked the overall plot of this volume, but felt there was too much unnecessary drama.

I swore I had written a review to this one at four am. But I suppose my brain lied to me.

NONETHELESS! This manga was by far my favorite of the series thus far. It brought into the mix her desires to be strong for her husband, which had been a running theme throughout the series. It began as her desiring to be stronger than him, and play the upperclassman role, but he ultimately surpassed her and it left her discovering how weak she was in the process. As she battles to prove her strength, new characters come into play desperate to destroy her relationship with her husband, and succeeding at feeding into her darkest fears. Ultimately, it proves to work against her, and she discovers quickly that perhaps it is okay to lean upon her husband for strength and support.

As someone who has been in her position on more than one occasion, there were many scenes within this manga that called out to me desperately. The desire for someone to hold you and express that its okay to be weak, because they're strong. If only men like this existed outside of the manga realms. XD

It is SO annoying that the main character doesn't say anything to her husband about her creepy nightmares. It seems so Japanese to keep an increasingly-dangerous situation to yourself to "not worry" someone. I cannot imagine an American woman not telling her husband something like this, especially when it's something he specializes in! They clearly don't trust each other, and their relationship is frustratingly immature.
