I appreciate that Stephen Kings writings never pull any punches and are set up to inevitably stand the relevancy test of time. I liked Holly's character (if a bit bland, but she felt real), and I loved all the interconnected elements between the alternating storylines. I would call this horror-lite, for the fact that it made me uneasy in a psychological sense and there are a few minor descriptions of gore. Content warnings attached.
