A modern shakespearean tragedy, dark academia edition. I enjoyed so many elements of this book and the whole story felt like one big breath from start to finish. Don’t read if you’re a Shakespeare hater >:|

I was unsure of the book as I was reading it but found myself recommending it to others after the fact. I enjoyed the shift from present-day Oliver telling his story to the story version of Oliver himself. Through telling his story you could tell that Oliver maintained his flair for the dramatics. The quotes were a bit obnoxious at times, but easy enough to skim over.
