I really enjoy this series and the main characters. I was correct in my earlier prediction that the plot is dragging a bit. But powers have evolved and bad guys have died, so it’s progressing. Just maybe not as quickly as I would like. The one thing that does annoy me is that the FMC has zero problem killing bad guys but when she talks about accidentally killing innocent people when she was a kid and didn’t have control over her powers, she acts like that is the worst thing she ever did. And I get it, but also, you have no problem killing hundreds of bad guys. Otherwise, still a good series and look forward to finally finishing. The spice is a good 3/5. I enjoy the dynamic of the bonded and the direction it’s going with their magic within them.
