Boring. Boring. Boring. But I *finally* finished it after many attempts. Listening made it easier, but I still found my mind wandering and I completely stopped listening periodically. No worries because the book moves so slowly that missing small parts doesn't really affect the general understanding of the story. I just hope I never have to read LOTR. I hear it's a more entertaining read, but after this I can't imagine it's really enough to keep my interest.

Always a classic. Always warms my heart to return to Middle Earth and revisit these books.

It may have taken me two days to finish it, but "The Hobbit" was fantastic. I couldn't put the book down, and even though I cried at the end, I know that I am going to reread this book many more times. ^_^
