Listened on audio. One of my favorite narrators.
This story is so sweet and fun. I really believed the couple love each other. We get to spend so much time with the couple working together, solving problems, and talking. Love!

Tessa can’t keep getting away with this!!!! Ugh I love Tessa’s books but this Girl Meets Duke series in particular is SO GOOD. I loved Penny and Gabe. The banter was superb and I really enjoy Tessa’s humor. I just eat her books up and I’m so bummed I’m caught up now.

This book was good, what I was expecting. It didn’t really wow me but I also have never been a really big historical fiction fan so I wasn’t really surprised I didn’t like it. I’m trying to get into historical fiction and this might get me into that. I like that the main character is quirky a bit of an outsider and that she takes charge of their courting instead of him. He’s a bit more reluctant and I like that.
Other than that noting was really happening in the book other than the two main characters and that’s what I didn’t like.

Don’t ask me why I’m like shocked by how much I love a Tessa Dare book whenever I finish one. I just AM. She’s my QUEEN.
Penny and Gabe were EVERYTHING TO ME. They’re both so soft (even though Gabe would deny it) it and headstrong and I want more of them!!!
