Where have I been living? Apparently under a rock, as I just got with the program and read the first book of this series.

If y’all are a fan of Twilight, and haven’t picked this book up... I suggest you drop everything and immediately start this.

From page one I was hooked. Girl moved into a small town, and her neighbors happen to be twins who are otherworldly. Beautiful.

This book is the definition of a page turner. I set it down only to sleep and immediately picked it back up. I am hooked, and going to go read the second book immediately.

This book really disappointed me. I felt like the main character was such a pushover to the fact that it genuinely annoyed me. Though she did redeem herself at the end by not buying into Daemon's crap, I generally didn't enjoy this book. In fact, if I didn't buy the bind-up of the first two books then I probably wouldn't read the second one. Longer review to come?

Estuvo interesante el libro. Debe ser el hecho de tratarse de un inicio de saga, pero lo he visto más como un libro introductorio en el que se nos presentan a los personajes; ya que si hablamos de trama, se podría decir que tiene poco acción.

Por momentos el personaje femenino me llegaba a exasperar, pero en general creo que es un buen personaje; no lo vi nada flojo como otros personajes de otros libros que sí me llegaron a cansar o aburrir. En cuanto al personaje masculino, ahora puedo entender por qué levanta tantas pasiones y suspiros. ¡Cómo se recreó la autora con sus descripciones!

En resumen, el libro cumplió mi objetivo básico: entretenerme. Con lo que consiguió que quisiera continuar leyendo la saga (al menos el segundo libro, luego ya iremos viendo).

Trascinante!!!
bello bello bello...
un po' tanto simile ad un certo Damon di nostra conoscenza il Daemon della trama, ma davvero ben scritto.
Veloce, scorrevole, sembra di vedere le puntate di una serie tv.
La protagonista è adorabile e la storia per quanto non sia complicata si legge in un attimo, con un finale che ti fa chiedere subito un'altro capitolo.... ci mancava qualche alieno nel mucchio di libri che leggo... ora sono a posto!

I read this book 6 years ago and I wanted to read it again to see if I will continue the series. I was really surprised that I enjoyed it. It did have that cringy line "Let out the breath I didn't know I was holding." I liked all the characters, I like the enemies to lovers trope and the friendship between Kat and Dee. Plus, the banter between Kat and Daemon was hilarious.
