This issue was just bleh and weird . It didn't make much sense either . Not gonna take it up again that's for sure . Okay maybe I'll give it a second try .

I just don't know. A lot of stuff is going on in this one. It just feels jumpy to me. The art is great, but at the same time I don't recognize anyone from the show. Except for Phil Coulson, but that is stretching it. (Also, he has looked like this for a while in the comic books.) They do flesh out Phil a lot in this one. Makes him feel more important. Turns out he is just a huge superhero fan. Just the way we like him.

Waid didn't flesh out any of the other characters. But I guess that is coming later on.

Gonna continue reading it. Ms. Marvel (Kamala) is in the next issue. I sure don't want to miss that. She can light up any comic book!

Not my thing, generally, but I love that Melinda May is going to be in actual book form.
