Not my usual type but a book club pick. Definitely delivered the cute and wholesome vibes I was expecting! Some of the characters were loveable, some were dreadful. But a fun read overall!

I loved it. Despite the initially hard subject, the book is full of hope.

I'd love a sequel to find out what happens to Beth next. I'd also like to see what happens with Albert!

I read this one as a buddy read and thoroughly enjoyed it!
We follow Beth as she is thrown into the deep end with a teenager and a toddler whilst trying to navigate her own life.
This has got to be one of my favourite reads so far this year. Beth is so relatable, especially her thoughts ‘apparently it’s not good for toddlers to be out in the midday sun because they’re vampires or something’
