Bribed was a super well-rounded romantic suspense. Rebecca Sharp made Dante's character such a great guy--especially his love of singing Backstreet Boys songs--that you fall immediately for him. We've met him in earlier books around Carmel Cove, and this was a fun trip watching him fall in love.

Lenni has had some health issues that have caused memory loss, and she hires Covington to keep her safe until her memory returns. Dante and Lenni immediately begin fighting attraction and feelings. Both are hiding things, and there is a stalker. All situations are bundled together to make this story a page-turner and so much fun to read. Add in all the steam these two generate, and this book is smoking hot. The suspense part has twists and turns and surprises all along the way. Mix in all the great banter among the guys from Covington, and now I am invested in the Covington team--I love a good bromance. Well done, Rebecca Sharp, well done!

Dante is by far my favorite of the group! As a BSB fan myself, the very start of this book had me hooked! It had everything I look for in a book. I loved it all! And I’m normally one who picks up fast on the culprit, but you got me this time. I definitely missed the clues, just like the guys, but boy was it a delicious ride!

The story/plot sucked me in but the writing isn’t the best. The sex scenes made me cringe. Why are the penises so angry? And why are the male characters in this series so obsessed with “finishing” inside their women? I’ll still read this series though because I’m invested in the characters now.

A Must Read!!!

You guys… this book, this story, these characters are some of my favorite of all time. Rebecca knows not to craft a story and evoke emotion like no other. I guarantee I will read anything she writes. Probably forever. That’s how invested I am. Dante, the Carmel Casanova and Lenni, The Dragon Queen, from outsiders perspective seem like they would just come from two separate worlds and never click but when you get a look into the characters they just work so well together. It’s like they were literally created for each other so perfectly I wonder how she did it. This author comes up with such distinctive character and personality treats for EVERY character in every story it’s amazing. There’s no repetition or one dimensions in these characters, each one is their own unique person and it is really amazing to read.

This is probably my favorite book so far I’ve read. Lenni and Dante are my favorite couple and I really thought she wouldn’t have been able to top Addy and Ace from the first book Betrayed but boy was I wrong. I cannot wait for Dex and Rocco’s books!

Dante Lozano works for Covington Security is a bit of a ladies man but nothing prepares him for the beautiful woman he finds walking alone along the side of the road and almost gets hit by a passing car. When he brings her back to the office he is shocked to learn that he is the new client that he is supposed to protect.

Lennon "Lenni" Love Clarke is an actress from A Song of Dragons whom the press has recently attacked for her supposed drug problem which is causing a delay in production of the new season. Lenni would much rather them believe that than the truth and her inability to remember anything from her past.

As Dante works to protect Lenni, her inability to tell him what is wrong begins to affect his job and finding out more on who is after her. Will Lenni be able to trust Dante with not only the truth but also her heart?

This is another great book in the series and the author manages to suck me straight in every time. I was really looking forward to Dante's story as he had given the other guys such grief with falling in love.

Dante really is a great character and was dedicated to his job and really good at it. He hated that he really had no idea what was going on with Lenni and why they needed to protect and who from. He cared about her a lot and was struggling with the "line" between professional and not.

The more you learn about Lenni the more your heart breaks for her. I couldn't imagine going through what she was and not knowing who to trust. I knew she felt like she could trust Ace but she struggled with opening up to Dante. I really liked her friendship with Skye but I was scared that she could have been involved with things as well.

I was happy when Lenni and Dante began to get closer but then I was definitely worried as it was so up and down and both were hesitant to risk their hearts. I was a little scared for both of them as I really wanted them to work out.

When everything began to go sideways I was freaking out a little as the person involved was someone who knew what they were doing but I was so proud of Lenni for reacting how she did and literally saving herself. I was a little shocked at how she managed to figure out a way to escape as the risks were huge for her.

I was so happy when Dante finally got up the courage to admit how he felt and I really liked the way that the book ended!

Can't wait for the next one!!!

The Casanova has fallen!

Dante and Lenni’s story was so good. It was full of twists and turns, so many ups and downs and drama. Their chemistry was off the charts and undeniable. But these two were the only ones denying it. Their story hooked me in right from the start. There was a lot of suspense and mystery that kept my attention and never let go. I was intrigued by the story up until the very last page. I can’t wait for the next book already.
