I really appreciated this book as a classic, and I think this book does a better job of capturing the essence of herd mentality better than many other classics that are touted for that aspect. However, this book was not at all for me. I think this is in large part due to how the book aged. That being said, most of the themes and satire in the story can most definitely still apply to modern society today, and I can still appreciate them.
