I was definitely intrigued by this book. The sacrifices Hannah made, the relationship building, but I was also sad for Hannah!

I’m not sure if I would categorize this as a “Thriller” but it was definitely a suspenseful read. I loved the Hannah/Bailey relationship and the clues unraveling, but found the last 1/4 of the book to be a little far fetched. I did enjoy the read though and would read more from this author.

This book was “ok”. It’s the first of her books I’ve read…and while it moved very quickly, the plot was engaging, etc. - I really didn’t care much about the characters. There were times when, while reading, I would stop and think, “ok, but this would have been so much easier if…(this or that)”. The plot just seemed too easy - and the characters - not much depth. It was one of those “meh” books I can read and finish because the plot moves, but there’s really nothing special about it, so it won’t stick in my brain. I’ll probably forget I read it.

- Plot- or character-driven? A mix
- Strong character development? Yes
- Loveable characters? Yes
- Diverse cast of characters? No
- Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

Well that ending was wholesome as hell.
Maybe it's because I dislike kids and could not relate to the main character at all, but I felt like the ultimate decision was very unlikely.
Still a good read though.

Easy read, i read the second half much quicker than the first because things really started to unfold
