Note to C.J.Box - there is no Indian attack on a fort in the John Wayne, Henry Fonda movie Fort Apache.

A short story about Nate. Some mention of Joe, but mostly Nate and his birds. Fills hole that had me wondering in the last novel that I read.

Had to hurry and borrow this book after noticing another short story disappeared from library's Overdrive collection.
This is a good short story with the focus on Nate and Peregrine falcon. Money can't buy Nate!

Better than average Novella. Nate as only Nate can be. Truly satisfying ending as well.
