Lucifer has found several ravens lately staking out his mistress’s house and now his evil brother is there and he is sure that Thatch is in league with the Raven Queen. When he sees Thatch leave with a raven on his shoulder, one he called Priscilla of all things - the name of their little sister, Lucifer brings his suspicions to Abbie. Abbie rebuffs all of them, and tries to convince him otherwise, but he is not buying it. Then, when Thatch returns after Christmas and is spending some alone time with Clarissa in the house, their Red Affinity magic combines and has some surprising consequences for Lucifer.
This is the first book in this spin-off series. We know bits and pieces of Lucifer’s past from the other books, but I am interested in seeing where this series takes us. You don’t have to have read the previous books to enjoy this, but these books are like M&M’s. You can’t just stop at one.
