Wao wao wao.
Ya entiendo el hype.
Mentira this deserves the hype ACOTAR gets! It’s so much better, I can’t believe she started writing this when she was 16.
If only I could share my annotations I made 59 to be exact, and that says A LOT considering that I don’t annotate much.

Crown of Midnight picks up where the events of Throne of Glass left off and it delivers! Now that Caelena is embedded deeply in the Kings court she must walk a careful balance which consistently tests her loyalties.

There are so many interesting characters and twists in this book. Sarah J Maas just has the ability to create an interesting character or location in a few sentences and then build them deeply into the world twisting and interacting with the other characters. I think that’s why every twist or reveal hits it’s mark, because every character is important and connected well in this world.

This was insane! I literally flew through the last ~150 pages in a little over an hour. How does someone write something this amazing?! The plot is so intricate and there are so many twists I never saw coming. The characters are all amazing and everything is so well crafted. There is always such a suspense that keeps the pages turning. I loved this book, even more than the first one. I cannot wait to read the rest!

Just wow, an amazing sequel. After getting to Nehemia’s death I couldn’t put the book down and became obsessed.

I loved basically everything about this. We got to learn a bit more about Celaena’s past which made her seem more human. Chaol and Celaena’s relationship was really interesting to read about as well and I loved the lovers to strangers intrigue.
