Just like a Hallmark movie, cheesy and low on the spice, slow-paced. There really wasn’t any spice until 75% of the way in, and even the scenes leading up to it were really that angsty or chemistry-filled. It was just ok.

I’m sorry, this is not for me. The characters are SO BLAND, I cannot understand their personalities and their immediate attraction to each other. There is no chemistry, no subtlety in the writing. The inner monologues are childish. I could not care less while reading and caught myself skipping entire paragraphs, so I guess I’m DNFing.
