I wasn't totally sold on this one. I didn't enjoy the narration (some of the pronunciations were odd, and I felt the overall voice(s) didn't quite fit the story), and had a few plot complaints...

- The instalove. Now I know I said "I love you" to my partner early, but we knew each other before we were together. This was SO intense right away - Jeannie wasn't even there a month and Logan wanted to say it! It was creepy how possessive he was, and concerning how angry and silent he got due to his own judgements/assumptions, and the annoying miscommunications. It was like whiplash. I know it was unresolved ex-trauma, but it was a lot.

- Some of the sex scene descriptions made me uncomfortable with the awkward wording; at one point I actually huffed a laugh.

- The shit with Norman. I can't believe Jeannie wasn't more upset with him! I would have been FURIOUS. There's no way he should have been forgiven so easily. The love story aspect seemed a bit clumsy/rushed as well.

One thing I did really love were the friends. The secondary characters were wonderful, supportive, and felt like true friendships. They helped convince me that Jeannie and Logan were good together, despite my complaints.
