This book is really good for existing in the world of cyberpunk but it is also good as a stand alone sci-fi. The extension to the already established world building is great and the plot is really intriguing and done well. It was not the best cyberpunk (genre) or sci-fi book but it was a really fun and enjoyable read.

I'd only recommend this book to someone who is very into the Cyberpunk universe (whether than be the game, ttrpg, or anime) and is desperate for more Cyberpunk. The main appeal is the setting(Night City) and some things are revealed in this book about the world of Cyberpunk that one would find interesting. However, that's where my enjoyment ended. The books jumps around far too much between characters for me. I never feel like we stuck with a character long enough to actually grow to like them. Every chapter felt like you'd vist five to six perspectives. Made me feel very disconnected when reading
