I’m honestly not sure what I read. The story was a little all over the place, and I found the pacing a little weird.
I’m familiar with the universe (game, ttrpg) so it wasn’t necessarily that. Nor was I bothered too much about the swapping POVs because it made sense in the long run, but something just didn’t click/work for me. The twist at the ending was a little strange, too.
I’ll say I did love the diversity in the cast, which gave an overall immersive experience of living in Night City. The difference of social status made for an interesting dynamic with the group itself. I also enjoyed reading about existing characters and places.
If you enjoy the cbp universe, I highly recommend you try reading it. People who aren’t familiar with the world probably won’t understand a lot about the story and corp conflicts.

A very fun heist book. It didn't end the way I wanted it to but I'm also not surprised by it.

No Coincidence is great for those who are already fans of the Cyberpunk universe, and are looking for a new perspective. Instead of established mercenaries, No Coincidence focuses on the adventures of amateurs, which I found refreshing. There are a few plot missteps, though they didn't stop me from enjoying another room through Night City.
