My favorite by far of the series. Had the most action and tense moments in it. All around a fantastic novel.

catching fire is absolutely amazing. after reading sotr, i fell back in love with the hunger games series.
this books takes place during the 3rd quarter quell, and all the tributes reaped are previous victors, creating a more tense atmosphere for the games.
so, so many of my favorite characters were introduced in catching fire, like finnick, johanna, etc. this book also developed katniss's and peeta's relationship more, and i felt like the scene on the beach is where i could really tell she loves him.
this book is definitely a fan favorite, but i will say, although the movie ranks #1 for the adaptations, the book isn't in my top 3!
HOWEVER, i still absolutely love this book (hence the 4.25 stars), i just think the others are better in my humble opinion . it felt a bit rushed at times, but still great!
