having only watched the movies, I was surprised at how long it takes for the games to actually start. The pre and post games activities from the first one take 90% of the book, but beyond that it speaks for itself and the writing is so wildly vivid you can see everything perfectly as you're reading.

The Second book of the Hunger Games series, contains much more than the previous one. More romance, more food ;), more adrenaline, more everything! It just made me want, well, more.

Não foi tão bom como o 1° livro. Foi bastante aborrecido até à 3a parte, o que fez com que eu não estivesse muito interessada. Mas a partir dos 65%, o ritmo aumentou! O Gale apareceu demasiado para o meu gosto… O último capítulo foi o melhor, acabou por compensar o início mais lento.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing this book is. Just wow. Yes I knew what was gonna happen because I saw the movie first but still.

I cried so many times and I'm not even on the last book yet. EverLark, you are everything to me! 

Finnick and Johanna too. Their dynamics with Katniss and Peeta here? That's my big four, my victors! (I'm not gonna survive mockingjay)
