Over all it was a good book...Patterson used to be my favorite several years back so I thought I'd pick one of his up again. A bit slower than his usual ones..but I did like it. I'll read the sequel. =)

Overall, this was a very good, suspenseful book. What the doctors were doing to the children, what happened at the School, all of that was heart-wrenching and made me want to dive into the book and hurt them. it was a great climax when they finally got what they deserved...mainly, a fiery car crash and the story of the flying girl plastered all over every news channel in the world. The end brought a smile. I was so happy that the six children, the little flock of flying children, were reunited with their parents. Makes me think that after the book was over, maybe everyone, Kit and Frannie included, lived on that army base in the middle of the woods, and were safe and happy their whole lives. And it was never forbidden for the children to fly.

Story is very simple and looks like I expected much. There is very little depth for any character. Gets predictable after a few chapters.

I can never get over how great these books were. I was just fascinated with every turn of the page. James Patterson never ceases to amaze me.
