Dream Daddy is a collection of short comics set in the cul-de-sac full with single dads, as known from the popular visual novel game of the same title.

The stories work best when you know the game and are already familiar with the characters, especially their quirks and who is who (both the dads, their children and other side characters.)

Each comic is written and drawn by different artists in a wide variety of different styles - there should be something for everyone in there.

Each story is charming in its own way, though some I ended up liking more than others.
My favourite story by far was the first one, Much Abird about Nothing. The last one, Dungeons and Daddies, which features the dads playing Dungeons & Dragons, was a lot of fun too, but was lacking in feeling, as was the case with most of the other stories. They were nice and easy to read, but I didn't get much from them.

While some of the comics feature the customizable player character as designed by the artists personally, other only feature the existing dads in the game.

Overall a lovely extension of the Dad Dating Simulator that is quick and fun to read!

I received an ARC and reviewed voluntarily.

Very cute art, but the stories are mostly so-so to meh. I haven't actually played Dream Daddy though, so maybe I'm missing things that would be delightful otherwise. Swing & a miss for me right now, but I'll revisit if I end up playing the game.

I never played the Dream Daddy game, so I'm not sure I'm the right audience for this, but I didn't get the hype. There was little to no romance in these stories, just as soon as you care about the characters, it's the end of the episode and it's onto another story. The change in art styles was pretty jarring lacked cohesiveness which made it difficult to really get into the stories. Overall, I was just not a fan.

I was given a copy of this in exchange for an honest review from NetGalley.

A few good stories, shoutout to Drew Green, but there wasn't nearly enough romance. This was really playing to the mega fans of the game lore itself than those of us that just like gay shit. Make the daddies kiss more thank u

5- Meh, una campaña estilo D&D. No muy fan.2

The art is amazing. The stories were a bit confusing, I haven't played the game so I wonder if that's why I never knew what was going on, who was related to who, which kids belonged to which Dads etc.
It was a nice lighthearted read though despite the confusion
