i have loved jodi’s books since i was 14 years old and have cried so many tears reading these pages over 20 years. she remains a master of storytelling and engaging a sentimental and devout means of seeking what love means or looks like; or what we will do for love or in the face of love being threatened.

dawn, wyatt, win and merit were all
so inspiring and real, i loved them all.

This book had so many unexpected twists that it had me screaming into a pillow (in a good way!). I really loved that it explained the history behind all of the Egypt references as I would have been completely lost otherwise. I really enjoyed it

This book involved romance, however, it was more following a woman's journey through the acceptance of what her life turned out to be, when she wasn't planning to endure any of what she went through. She looks back on what she could have been if she stuck to her original plan. Accurately looks into the difficulties of marriage, even "good" ones.

Jodi Picoult has done it again. I honestly thought I wouldn't like the book that much because it didn't sound like something I'd be interested in, but I enjoyed every minute because of her flawless writing and story. I waited a lot to get the book in my hands and did not regret it. Totally recommend this one
