Meh. Reads just like slightly below average Harry Potter fanfiction.
Worst part: The characters behaved - for lack of a better word - uncharacteristically. (Don't even mention the plot holes) This leaves me feeling extremely underwhelmed.

This was great. I love the Harry Potter series. I love time travel stories. I love reading plays. What's not to like.
That said, I don't think I would have liked this as much without the entire franchise backing it up. It was good, but as a stand alone. . .probably not.

This was pretty good. I enjoyed it, especially the fun play form.
This is something both kids and parents can relate to... It is accepting who you are and those around you... Not being burdened by people's idea of what you should be... Accepting your child and family for who they are and not who they ought to be...
It is about the power of friendship and love.. About being honest to those we love and who are the fallen heroes for the peace the magical community have
It brings back some of the characters we've lost in a heartwrenching way...
For such a short read it invoked so much memories and feelings... This is really a script with enter stage left etc... even if it is not as descriptive that is typical of JK Rowling writing style you cam still imagine the world because I already know the world and characters having grown up with them...
It is like a comet in the sky... A lightning in the sky... Just a quick peek back in their world... I feel the loss again but I am thankful for that flash of light

I was really nervous about this, but I really enjoyed the story! No, it doesn't live up to the magic of the original series, but there's a lot of things it does right and I had a BLAST reading it. It was just fun & nostalgic. Who knew I'd come to love a Malfoy so much?
I found the storyline really intriguing, and I wished it would have been developed into more than what was in the one book. So many things happened that it felt very condensed. Even so, I’d still love to see the play on Broadway.

A decent story, pretty simple, yet entertaining characters and it feels good to be back in HP-universe. It was an enjoyable ride, however this feels more like a screenplay than an actual play based on 25+ different locations, many scenes that are only 2-3 pages long and switch of locations even within scenes. It basically feels like Rowling wrote this as a novel and Thorne turned it somehow into a "play". Still, it was a pretty satisfying read, however the worst of all 8 books.
