Way funnier than I’d imagine and a quick and empowering read full of candor and humor.

I stumbled upon this book when looking for the book “Yolk.” (Which makes it funny that their first story is about yolk/yoke). I’m so incredibly glad I read it. I’m currently in my ytt 200 and struggling with so many things mentioned, especially the imposter syndrome. I will definitely be purchasing and rereading this book. I’m also excited to read other books by this author. Such an authentic, no bs take to yoga. I also really appreciate the conversations on cultural appropriation within American yoga.

I knew going in that I was going to vibe with a lot of this author's story. I appreciate the unapologetic candor throughout. I would recommend it to anyone that practices yoga and doesn't mind someone not holding their punches with where you might disagree with them.
