I absolutely adore this manhwa! The art style is so so pretty and the characters are just cinnamon rolls that deserve all of the happiness in the world (except for the Grand Chancellor, hate his guts). I adore Rayburn and Angela together, but I'm definitely not looking forward to Frederic realizing his feelings and then realizing they're not reciprocated . I can't wait to see what happens with the sequel to Angela's book and the moment Rayburn returns!
Moderate: Bullying, Physical abuse, Slavery, Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Confinement, Violence, Blood, War
Bullying (Rayburn and Hoya are verbally bullied both by other citizens and by some of the individuals in the palace in both the past and present; Rayburn gets egged) | Injury/Injury Detail (various small injuries and bruises with some blood throughout the manhwa) | Physical Abuse (Angela was physically abused as a slave and we see some of the injuries left behind; Frederic is physically abused by his uncle, the Grand Chancellor, and we see the injuries from that as well) | Slavery (Angela was a child slave and we see some of the physical abuse she endures) | Confinement (Angela is captured by imperial soldiers at the beginning and confined to a jail carriage) | Violence (mention of war; fantasy violence involving sword fighting) | War (mentioned in passing)

Thoughts so far: 20 chapters read.
A thoroughly funny and cute manhwa that all anime fans could empathise with. Angela is a girl who is arrested one day after discovering a fanfiction she wrote about the supposedly ruthless Prince Rayburn (ugh name choice) is serialised by a rogue merchant. She ends up becoming the resident scholar as a ruse in order to write another volume of fanfiction secretly to improve the prince's reputation. But being so close to the object of adoration is overwhelming for Angela, and it turns out the prince might feel something too.
The art is incredible. Every panel is so beautiful and the characters are very expressive. The use of colours is really a big draw in this series, even knowing that webtoons are done in full colour usually. The issue I have with the art is the trope of all the main characters being special and having special hair colours - while everyone else, bad guys not excepted - are average/ugly/gross. The main characters suffer from same face very badly in this series.
The idea of the story is incredibly cute and fun and there are some laugh-out-loud funny panels. I like the jump for Angela from just being a writer in a village admiring the prince from afar to being right next to him in his own palace. She learns a bit more about him and how cool he really is, as well as how driven and capable he is. Sort of tropey but he is the best swordsman in the entire realm. There is a minor rivalry between him and the crown prince, who was made the inheritor of the throne after his birth. This stripped the prince of his title and he is referred to as the prince or the duke through the series; the inconsistency is a bit frustrating.
I also feel like the romance is a bit too rushed, but it is definitely still cute. The development of a love square seems to be coming up...
One other thing I want to praise is that the fanfiction that Angela wrote is teased a bit in the book - additionally she wrote a scene where the prince and his most trusted knight KISS! essentially making the fanfiction a slashfic LMAO. The prince, understandably, reacts negatively with being forcibly paired with someone in his group. I'm looking forward to more chapters. :)

25 chapters in and the romance is becoming a little more believable. It appears to have been a ruse and now there are real feelings developing. A few of the chapters have been worthless flashbacks. 1 chapter was almost all flashbacks. Terrible.

32 chapters in - a plot is actually starting to show. However this means that the manhwa will be really long based on the content we are seeing. Plus the romance is being developed more, these characters are emotionally crippled and just can't drop the L word. A little more world-building but I can't stand these ridiculous names.
