Whew it’s dark and heart wrenching. It’s short but well written, the two narrators really bring the story to life. Well worth the wait!
Graphic: Suicidal thoughts, Sexual violence, Bullying, Sexual assault, and Rape
Moderate: Mass/school shootings and Gun violence
Minor: Stalking and Drug use

As usual, the author takes the worst moral scenarios you can think of and makes you wonder what choices you would make.
Graphic: Suicidal thoughts, Gaslighting, Grief, Mental illness, Suicide attempt, Stalking, Sexual violence, Alcohol, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Rape, Sexual content, Forced institutionalization, and Suicide

I absolutely enjoyed this book. I tore through it in one day. Fast paced, great writing, amazing narration for audiobook.
The few flashbacks in the story gave actual context and weren’t distracting or too long to divert from the tense plot.
Although the twist was relatively easy to discern - it was still quite the thrill ride. It was obvious the author was going for a very well-written story versus a shocking twist. That being said - for a certain demographic like myself, the ending leaves quite the impression.
This was my first Lucinda book - and I just started my second tonight 🖤
