I got the novels out of the way first, because the reason they're long enough to be novels is that Watson takes a looong break from talking about his adventures with his pal in the middle of the book to have the guilty party explain their entire backstory in excruciating detail

A estrutura do livro lembrou um pouco do "Um Estudo em Vermelho", metade do livro é a historia no presente e depois volta 20 anos para contar a historia da historia.
Bem legal, nesse livro ele usa sociedades secretas como linha guia.

Definitely the weakest Holmes story, and my least favourite so far.
Conan Doyle seemed to be phoning it in at this stage! His dislike of Holmes is pretty clear due to the sheer lack of Holmes and Watson in the story! It seemed more like an average story where Holmes and Watson cameo!

Really good, but I am having a hard time coping with this being the final Sherlock book.... How can this be the Battle with Moriarty is not finished!!!!!!! Oh Arthur Conan Doyle HOW MUCH I WISH YOU WROTE MORE OF THESE!!!!!
