Karma always finds a way

Those filled with hate will never truly be happy, yet they find solace is making others miserable. I will never understand that but I've seen karma in action and she always gets her way.

Max wraps up the Sierra View series with a cute romance

This is a nice read with a little bit of angsty and a little bit of drama and two MCs who have an instant connection which develops into something stronger.

As with all of Max's romances, there's a lot of dialogue, a steamy interlude or two (or more), a sudden plot twist which comes from left field and a nicely tied up ending that brings everything together.

Trying to decide if I want to finish this or not. I'm at 24% and having a really hard time with the editing and research done in this book.

Shepard is stated as a medical student. There's an exchange that happens at 24%:

"“How, uhm, how’s medical school going?” Nick immediately felt bad for being cold toward Shepard. He didn’t want the silence to last a second longer.

“It’s going,” Shepard said, an exhausted laugh slipping through. “It’s easier now that I’m a resident.

Walker, Max. Code White (The Sierra View Series Book 4) (p. 58). Walking Press. Kindle Edition. "

Did the author not research how medical school works? First undergrad. Then med school. Then intern. THEN RESIDENT. You are not a resident as a medical student.

I'll probably keep reading, but this isn't the first error that should have been caught by an editor or beta reader ("bride of honor?" You mean maid of honor.)

I like the author but please make sure your information is accurate, because this completely took me out of the book. If you need a beta, feel free to reach out to me!
