A charming, witty novel. Glad to see Hong Kong representation! Dolan perfectly meshes the complexity of relationships, quips on capitalism and representation into this lovely book.

Overall a decent book and fairly quick read. Didn’t take much mental energy to get through so it got me back into reading, but the ending didn’t really hit and felt rushed. Really no complex plot points, and it was almost trying to be a fictional memoir more than a novel maybe? Not bad, bonus points for queer content, but not great
