Okay everyone just stop, because I am obsessed with this series. So cute, so fun, and I'm definitely forcing my son to read all of them as soon as he's able.

A great book to bridge the gap between readers and for real first chapter books (for real meaning magic treehouse and junie b. jones level difficulty). Cute illustrations come off a little vintagey, which I love.

A nice first picture book for a younger kid. Not at all scary, full of bright, funny illustrations.

The characters in this story are so endearing. Even Eugenia! The antics of Mercy within these pages mixed with DiCamillo’s way of writing really push the Mercy Watson books past all the other early chapter books into its own league. No wonder Mercy is considered a porcine wonder!
