The first few chapters were pretty weak, I thought. But the storyline is pretty powerful, and it did get better. I'm excited to read the next installment.

I'm caught up in the story now. Nice tension with engaging characters.

I’m reading these for the first time in my mid 20s so I can’t say too many bad things about it. The dialogue is a little cringe but overall enjoyed it

How could Stephanie Meyers make Edward the most compelling character and then cut him out of 80% of book 2? Horrible choice. Will definitely read book 3.

I liked the focus on Jacob more as a teenager in New Moon. I wasn't as enthralled in this second book as I was the first. I plan on rereading it eventually.

This book drove me crazy. I regret the $10 I shelled out for it. I would say that it is a library read.

I was really disappointed because I LOVED the first book in the series! Then I went and read this and wanted to strangle Bella the entire time.

I have never seen a more pathetic and whiney female protagonist ever. She spends about 75-80% of the book discussing how she cannot go on or live a decent life without Edward in her life. A chapter or two might have been tolerable... but an entire book? It made me hate her character. She is completely helpless and pathetic in the book and it really bothered me.

Even though this part of the series was so disappointing I am told by my sister that the next one is much better. I am hesitant to buy it so I may just go to the library and try it out.

Bella Swan... you pissed me off this entire book!
