She knows that without the help of the Green Berets she never find and scientists who created this master who is determined to kill many more once it's released. The book will have from the first page to the very last
To find out who and what the entire plan is to release it everywhere.

There a couple of Green Berets whim will protect her at any cost include their own . Great book and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Absolutely loved. I never wanted to put it down. Well written. Loved all the different elements and trying to figure out who was behind the bio-problem.

Julie Rowe writes an adrenalin filled, action packed, heart thumping romantic suspense. Right from the first word, the action sequences in this story leap out of the page at you and keep you racing through to the end. Imagine yourself watching a blood pounding action movie like The Fast and The Furious, only this time you're reading it.

Everything about this story is driven by the action. It's non-stop as Sharp and Grace find themselves racing to stop a terrorist who has released a deadly biological weapon that can kill in hours.

Sharp is your typical alpha male. He's what puts the "special" in Special Forces. I love how tough and how protective he is of Grace, his sense of humor and kindness as he sees them through some truly horrific situations. If I found myself in such a situation, I'd definitely want sharp at my back.

Grace is amazing. She's brave and selfless. She's the kind of doctor who truly believes in the oath they take to save human lives. She puts herself at risk in order to protect the many and her selflessness is incredibly admirable. She's also smart, sassy and resilient as all get out. If I had to endure even half the things she had to, I'd have collapsed in a heap halfway through but then, I also do not have the training and the back up she's had.

This is a great story. There's not a lot of romance in it and I appreciate the fact that Ms Rowe didn't stop for them to have sex while they had bullets flying over their heads. There were a few stolen moments but those were short, sharp and shiny. It hinted at things to come without getting in the way of the story.

This is the start of a great series. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Dr. Grace Samuels is a trauma surgeon who works with the Biological Response Team. She is assigned a Green Beret as a bodyguard. Jacob "Sharp" Foster knows there is something going on with Grace but he's not sure what it is. She has terrible guilt over something. It is also clear that the Base Commander hates her. They are trying to identify a contagion that is killing rapidly. They find it is a modified version of Anthrax. At times they seem to be fighting against their own people. Grace and Sharp develop a relationship when neither expect it. This novel is full of suspense and moves at a rapid pace. I couldn't put it down. The characters were likable and admirable.

DNFed at 25%

Too much romance and sex, not enough biological warfare.

That was my main problem. The characters were interesting, it was well written. Hell, I wanted to know about Sharp and Grace's pasts, but, then the romance set in. And that's when I realized it was mainly going to be about them for the bulk of the book rather than solving the problem of a possible biological warfare. That's when I decided to DNF it, right after the sex scene between the two of them.

I didn't want hot sex, I wanted people finding and solving this problem, which I know would be solved by the end of the book. I just didn't want to stick through it.

This was one fast-paced book. One could call it insta-love, but Grace and Sharp have known each other for months by the time you enter their story. A friend pointed me to this author and I'm happy that I picked it up. It hits all the buttons for me to enjoy a military suspense.
