Great book about the aftermath of committing a crime and the alienation from society... I felt bad for Raskolnikov even though he was stupid and prideful.  I think the book also says a lot about what it means to be a human; we do things that don't make any logical sense because we have creating some weird internal reasoning. Rodya's genius plan doesn't hold up and a more primal guilt and fear takes hold. Though the book does speed up in pace, it was still a bit too slow for my taste.

Ai saatana että tää oli hyvä, en malttanut laskea kirjaa kädestäni kun olin niin imeytynyt sen tapahtumiin. Raskolnikov oli niin hyvin kirjoitettu hahmo, toisaalta tosi ennalta-arvaamaton mutta toisaalta tiesin kyllä jo alusta asti, että hän ei koskaan tulis katumaan niitä murhia. Rakastan moniulotteisia henkilöhahmoja ja psykologista pohdintaa ja eksistentiaalikriisejä (paitsi en omiani) ja selän takana juonittelua!! Säästän loput ajatukset esseeseen, joka mun tulee tästä kirjoittaa.
