Great start to the Forward collection. Very mindful short story of loss and sadness with little sparks of hope. Wonderful narration from Evan Rachel Wood.

I haven’t read anything by Veronica Roth yet, but this short story definitely make me want to change that. Right now. It’s truly amazing how someone can fit so much raw emotion into so few words. I’m also really looking forward to seeing how the other authors in this series treat their bite sized visions of the future.
