It's really starting to bug me how Nathan takes the news. I think he's a little too possessive and selfish. He's not my favorite of the boys. I did really like how Sang got to know Owen a little more.
2016
There is SO much going on in this book. It's really hard to keep everything straight. Although, my favorite part (North Shore) is in this book. But it's almost too much.
2015
HOLY CRAP! Sean was the first to break the rule!?!?!?!? I thought for sure that North was going to kiss her the night he took her to the beach!

Status Report:

Sang: I know Rome was not built in a day, but I need you to step up your game and use your words, because the bozos you hang out with are clearly not going to.

Kota: Always lurve me some hot nerds. I'd love to see him actually lose control for once.

Nathan: Was never my favorite, so this was kind of a slog. I felt like he spent a lot of time being manipulative, and I couldn't quite forgive him that behavior because he has yet another abusive parent. And the section from his POV made me grit my teeth.

Gabriel: Has hidden depths. Still think it's kind of ridiculous that Stone refuses to acknowledge that bisexuality is a thing, because I do not believe for one moment he has never crushed on any of the other boys. Also, his lack of self-confidence is endearing in this one where Nathan's felt manipulative.

Victor: Becoming one of my favorites, because he is rich and a musician. Every time he buys Sang something, I swoon, and I love that he's secretly been buying her clothes all the time.

Luke: Wins points for being confident in Sang's abilities and not babying her as much as the rest do. I think I'll have fun with his book, which is two books ahead of where I'm at.

North: Damn. The closest the series has come to hot smut and it's with him. But he's also got a well-hidden romantic streak, which I adore.

Silas: There wasn't enough of him. I love me a gentle giant. But the next book focuses on him more, I hear, so I look forward to it.

Sean: A bit of a skeeze, honestly. I appreciated that he finally kissed her already, but he still has some authority over her, andthey share a bed. And despite all of CL's gymnastics, that's never going to be a thing I can get past.

Owen: Seems like the only vaguely competent one in the group. It's too bad he's saddled with so much dead weight.

Karen: I want to read whatever book she and Mike actually star in, because she's awesome and I bet in her starring book she is way less whiny.

Everything else:

I'm really over the fact that literally every other girl that isn't Sang (and maybe... maybe Karen) is either a bitch or a slut. (Sometimes both.) The misogyny is really not necessary. And I've read the author's justification for it, but I'm not buying it. And the fact that the villain in this book was a girl who touches Sang inappropriately and basically forces a kiss made me incredibly angry. I'm totally here for the wish-fulfillment and reverse harems. But the misogyny doesn't need to be there.

Plotting: Still isn't very good. Also, I miss Volto, who points out all the things I find unbelievable about these books, even if everyone is determined to ignore him. Mr. Hendrix twirls his moustache in every scene he's in, and I'm tired of him seeming to be the major villain, although he gets points for not trying to rape Sang, I guess.

My verdict still stands: These books are actively terrible. You probably shouldn't read them. But I know I can't stop.

Another awesome book in the Ghost Bird Academy series by C L Stone. This one has my favorite scene with North and my favorite scene with Mr Blackbourne. Each book has its own exclusiveness that will keep you reading way past your bedtime. I get so anxious to see events unfold and then after I finish the book I will immediately grab the next in the series so I can read what happens next. You will not be bored reading this series.

Push and Shove is about Sang trying to understand her feels about all of the boys. And they have Nathan's father coming back and trying to start trouble. Now, Sang isn't sure what to do. Then add in some more problems with her sister, and you have a whole world of trouble.

This one was wonderful! I loved how Sang is getting closer to the guys! She's becoming more intimate with them, and it's amazing. I loved it. However, the ending pissed me off! I was so angry with Nathan, I couldn't believe he did that! I really hope he makes up for it in the next book, because it was just wrong in my opinion.
Other than that I loved this one. I loved Sang getting to know the boys better, and she's trying to learn things as well!
