From the last volume's time travel to Camelot, we come to the most soap opera-ish trade in the series, as Claremont attempts to pump emotional turmoil into the cast. Unfortunately, the previous volumes were so befert of interesting character developments that I'm too detached to care about anyone in this book.
This is, mercifully, the final volume, although the cast will get swallowed up by Drawn By The Sword, which works as a coda to both New Excalibur and Exiles, two books I'm not looking forward to rereading.
