This was tough to get through. Mainly because we are still hurtling full speed towards the end of the world due to the climate crisis and nothing is being done about it and we are all gonna burn up?? Like should I bother having kids??
It was well written and interesting but this is heavy shit. And I'm a grown ass lady. It's fascinating this 15 year old girl grasps what an emergent situation our climate is and is fighting to do something when even reading about all this made me want to double up on my anxiety meds.
Soooo read at your own risk is what I'm saying. Greta is incredible and I'm better and smarter for having read this.

Endelig! Denne boka fikk meg til å vakne. Endelig nokon som setter ord på alt vi burde ha visst, og som kan få oss til å sjå framover i krisen vi står midt oppe i.

I admire this family but I found this book really hard to read. Disjointed scenes and commentary and it just made me anxious. The best part was reading about Greta's journey. She was really struggling until she found her purpose in life and that made all the difference. So inspiring.
