A sweet book about finding your roots and letting your desires lead you rather than trying to travel down paths that others think will be best for you. If you enjoyed this book, I’d highly recommend reading any of Sarah Addison Allen’s book. This one really reminded me of The Peach Keeper.

This is a heartwarming gem of a book. I recently finished Sweet Magnolias on Netflix and this filled the void. A sweet story about a Southern town, forgiveness and pie.

The best way to describe this book IMO is sweet. I loved its pace and how the characters get to their HEA's. This was my first book by Ms. Webber and I am definitely going to read more. I loved the magic aspect of this book to, the not so subtle way everyone in the town acknowledges it as truth and doesn't think much past that. The main characters are smart and fun, and the secondary characters have great stories to..working both for their own and to build on the story of the main characters.

The only reason it doesn't get a 5 star is that I wish the author would have given us a little more romance, but that's a me problem, not the books.
