Another great book in this series. Again had fantastic character work, wonderful intrigue built and incredibly well-plotted. I also feel like Jordan trusts his audience, he doesn’t reveal much about the world beyond how it affects the characters or how they themselves understand it but that really work for me.
Also the action (especially in the home stretch) was incredible and so vivid which I didn’t expect having been a little critical of the action in book 1.
Only complaints are that as our main characters from book 1 were very separated we didn’t get to spend a lot of time with all of them which was a bummer as the characters are so cool. Also it seems like our hero has 3 love interests and I’m like why is every young girl in this book attracted to the 1 guy but we shall see what happens!
As with book 1, I’m excited to pick up the next one!
