I just really enjoy The Thursday Murder Club and their friendship.

Wow. I really was blown away again! Richard Osman nailed it once again. I loved the exploration of the characters. They are all so real! I especially loved the exploration of Ibrahim. All the characters are complex, but especially Ib. I loved the humor, and I also loved the emotional, quieter moments from the characters.

The "bad guys" were believable while still fitting with the lighthearted tone of the story overall. I really enjoyed this one, and I'm definitely looking forward to The Bullet That Missed!

ABSOLUTE PURE COMFORT!!!
A read that will help you cheer up and not  be to stressed but at the same time keep you at the edge of your seat. Also ,shockingly reflective when it came to Donna and Ibrahim.
Didn't think it was possible but this book is even better than the first.
I'm gonna sit here and wait patiently for the release of The Bullet That Missed <3

In comparison to the first book, I liked this one a lot more. I felt like the plot line was so much better developed and the events throughout the story definitely kept me more intrigued than the first book. I actually really enjoyed getting to know the characters a lot more and how they bond together as the crimes unfold. Elizabeth is certainly a mysterious piece of work, and I enjoyed getting to know about her more, as the first one left a lot to be desired about her character.

I do find these really good cosy crime novels and they do keep me fully engrossed. I think the witty writing and humorous elements of the books really help. I am not someone who reads a lot of crime, and so I think this element really helps keep me involved. They are not too complex either and this really helps me keep engaged. I would recommend this book as I think it is a great read. I liked this one so much I preordered the third instalment, so it must have been half-decent!

I way preferred this over the first book. This is a fun mystery and was exactly what I was looking for. It's slightly predictable with loveable characters ( I felt that the character's were better developed in this book). The only thing I wish is if there were less pop culture references.
