This was the first I have read of this author and I would be interested in reading more. This book is a complete standalone. I did find this book to be a little bit choppy. It is written in mostly third person, which I am not normally a fan of but it was done well in this book. There were areas the main character would have a flashback or had her words for a project she was doing and that got to be a little confusing. I would have like to have had more of this story, I felt like as soon as a scene was getting good it ended.
