These books are so entertaining! Here we see the babies become pirates while at the pool, and it is oh so fun. There isn't a little moral like in the other books, but the illustrations and the overall message are still there. Very cute.

For: pirate fans; readers looking for a book about sharing.

Possible red flags: taking things from other children.

Cute but not anything truly different from the first two, which I adored. A fine addition to the collection if you want them all.

Avast ye mateys, Baby Billy is back with his friend Baby Javier and, despite their best intentions, their naughtiness cannot be contained! The two young gentleman are spending the day at the local swimming pool, where they save beached whales (rolling dad into the pool), rescue shipwrecked passengers (dolls that have fallen overboard), and defeat sea monsters (unsuspecting strangers) with pool noodles. When they spot two other tots, Captain Kid and Short John Silver, burying stolen treasure they vow to get it back. All goes according to plan...until Billy and Javier are taken over by their pirate altar egos. Shiver me timbers! Fans of the first two Mustache Baby books will adore this silly story with a satisfying ending. Perfect as a class read aloud, but also enjoyed independently.

In this new installment of the Mustache Baby series, Baby Billy and Baby Javier sail across the seven seas (across the community swimming pool) to find treasure. During their adventure, things go awry and they end up becoming PIRATES! Toward the end, "AVAST! The pirates were caught and forced to stand trial!" MEANING, their parents pulled them from the water and placed them in separate timeouts for naps. LOL In the end, everyone is playing happily together again and all is well. The artwork in this book was created digitally.

The Mustache baby and bearded boy are just fun. The play on words works so well. This time around they are at the pool where they become lifeguards, ships mates, and even pirates. The illustrations are just as adorable as the story.

I'm not a big fan of the Mustache Baby books, but kids like them a lot. This one was fine, but nothing special.
